Injection treatment is £220 per injection site / area.

If treatment is carried out during your appointment, there is no separate consultation fee.

If treatment is not clinically appropriate following assessment, a £30 consultation fee will apply.

All treatment is subject to clinical assessment, suitability, consent and clinician discretion.

Do I need to know if I need an injection before booking?
No. Your appointment begins with a consultation. We will assess your symptoms, medical history and suitability before discussing whether injection treatment may be appropriate.
Is treatment guaranteed?
No. Injection treatment is only carried out if clinically appropriate following assessment. If treatment is not suitable, we will explain why and advise you on the most appropriate next steps.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. You can book your Joint Care Consultation directly online.
How do I book?

How much does it cost?
Injection treatment is £220 per injection site / area.

What happens if I am not suitable for treatment?

Yes. Many people choose private joint care because they want more time, more clarity or quicker access to a consultation. This service does not replace your GP, but it can help you explore suitable treatment options.
Will I be treated during the same appointment?
If injection treatment is clinically appropriate and you are happy to proceed, treatment may be carried out during the appointment.
Can steroid injections help joint pain?
Steroid injections may help reduce pain and inflammation for some people, depending on the joint, symptoms and clinical suitability. Your clinician will discuss whether this may be appropriate for you.
Is this suitable for urgent or severe symptoms?
No. This service is not suitable for medical emergencies or urgent symptoms. If you have severe pain, sudden swelling, signs of infection, a recent injury, chest pain, sudden weakness, or you feel seriously unwell, please seek urgent medical help.
